Creating an AI-generated stock photo
Hello👋!
Finally the heatwave is over! Unfortunately, the Dutch team lost against Morocco at the World Championship 😭 . How could this happen? I knew for sure that we would win!
Combined with some sleep deprivation caused by my 3-year-old (I could have watched the game as I was awake almost the entire time, but was kept busy by SOMEONE... grrr), I haven’t been in the best mood.
That said, I do feel very happy when I’m working! Even if it still feels like I’m pretending to work then actually working.
My plan is getting more shape and it still feels just so much fun to do something entirely new! Adventure!!🏕️⛰️
This week I started the search for a fashion designer. I have ideas in mind of what I would like to make, but I need someone professional to help shape those ideas, or even better: come up with better ones;).
Because of that, I decided my little website needed to look a bit more professional and explain more clearly what I’m trying to build. So I:
- added my newsletters to the website (after some extra editing: I figured I should sound a bit more serious if it's going to live on the internet forever
- created an About page
- changed the text on the homepage and made it look a bit more atmospheric with an AI-generated image
Are you also curious how the atmospheric picture on my homepage was made? I stacked fabrics and clothes I have made myself to capture the colors and vibe I like, then prompted Canva AI with "minimalistic picture for a fashion website" and TADA! Result below! I think the bottom part still looks a bit too stock-photo-ish to me, but overall it's pretty cool what AI can do.
